Admin Assistant (1-Year Term Lockport)

This position reports directly to the Office Manager and is based out of the Lockport office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Track office supplies, develop and maintain a filing system
  • Draft letters and emails to internal and external staff on behalf of the leadership team
  • Organize and schedule meetings, take minutes and disburse to appropriate staff as needed
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Fixed Wireless Division and Office Manager
  • Book external conferences, meeting spaces, and restaurant reservations as required for various meetings
  • Coordinate lunch for internal meetings
  • Communicate with customers through phone and email
  • Assist with various billing needs and inquiries
  • Accounts payable & accounts receivable data entry including customer payments, vendor invoices, and credit card transactions
  • Assist in preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Other duties as assigned


What You Bring:

  • Post-secondary education in office administration or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Previous experience providing administrative support to a leadership team is an asset
  • Previous experience with organizing, tabulation, and summarization of project information is an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Ability to maintain discretion with highly confidential and sensitive pieces of information
  • Working knowledge of best business writing practices
  • High level of professionalism
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • Ability to work with constant interruptions and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to knit together many pieces of information in a logical format
  • Confident and assertive written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet short deadlines while maintaining a calm demeanour
  • Can clearly demonstrate expertise in the areas where this role will provide support


Working Conditions:
