Customer Service Representative (1-year Term)

We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for talented people join us!

We’re hiring full-time Customer Service Representative (1-year term) to provide customers professional and personable interactions with Valley Fiber. This is an entry-level role for people who like working in an office environment and having regular social interactions. Customer Service Representatives report to the Customer Service Manager.

What You Bring:
– Previous experience in customer service is an asset
– Proficiency in technology and computers is required
– Previous experience in dealing with highly confidential information and maintaining discretion
– Proficient in MS Office Suite
– Excellent interpersonal skills and a ‘ready to assist’ attitude
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– High degree of collaboration with others
– Ability to multitask efficiently
– High level of adaptability with frequently changing processes
– Highly reliable and dependable
– High degree of professionalism
– Ability to problem solve efficiently
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to de-escalate difficult interactions with customers in a professional manner

What You’ll Do:
– Assisting the sales team with providing documentation, processing agreements and other administrative tasks
– Assisting customers throughout the life cycle of their Valley Fiber services
over the phone, email and occasionally in office
– Handling customer complaints and requests for information while working
with other teams to find suitable solutions for each circumstance
– Data verification and entry
– Working with multiple software applications
– Assisting customers during the sign up process
– Tracking customer communications through our ticketing software

Working Conditions:
– Remaining seated at a desk for several hours a day
– Ability to work on internal systems for long periods of time
