Direct Sales Lead

We are seeking out a full-time Direct Sales Lead to join our team in our Winkler office. This position reports to the Director of Sales – Residential & Small Business.

Who You Are:
• 3-5 years’ experience in sales is required
• Previous experience in telecommunication sales is an asset
• Valid class 5 driver’s license is required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous experience with CRM’s or tracking software is an asset
• Demonstrated leadership and team building capabilities
• Excellent negotiation and leadership capabilities
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
• High level of professionalism
• Driven and passionate personality that seeks growth opportunities
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to understand residential sales
• High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
• Capacity to manage various projects and work with short deadlines

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

What You’ll Do:
• Collect various data on multiple sales platforms as required
• Act as a liaison between the Director of Sales- Residential & Small Business
and the Direct Sales Representatives
• Collect sales reports, vehicle inspection logs, working together with Fleet
Manager for vehicle servicing as needed
• Coach the direct sales team and provide leadership to achieve their
individual sales targets
• Act as the first point of contact for direct sales inquires
• Provide support for coordinating Brand Ambassadors for sales pushes,
events, etc.
• Actively selling Valley Fiber products in various communities
• Oversee the daily operations of all direct sales teams
• Supervise the direct sales team and comply with company and regulatory
guideline on all sales process
• Provide reports to the Director of Sales- Residential & Small Business and
assist with various projects as required
• Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:
• Ability to work on internal systems for long periods of time
• Willingness to adapt schedule and hours to accommodate high season and
customer demand
• Willingness to be on call for evenings and weekends as required
