Front Desk Admin Assistant – Winkler

Valley Fiber Ltd. is a locally owned and operated technology firm based out of Winkler, MB. The ever-growing need for fast and reliable telecommunications has spurred on innovation. This innovation and its almost limitless potential have been one of the core passions for the Valley Fiber Development Team. Since 2017, this team has been working on bringing its next generation conscious fiber optic infrastructure design to the region. Valley Fiber has formed many partnerships with industry-leading developers to create and finalize its innovative design. We are looking for a full-time Front Desk Admin Assistant to join our team. This position reports to the Director of Sales.

Who You Are:
• Previous administrative and/or customer service experience is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Previous experience in maintaining highly confidential and sensitive
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask efficiently
• High level of adaptability with frequently changing processes
• Ability to de-escalate difficult interactions with customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to focus on monotonous tasks for long periods of time
• Ability to collaborate well in a team environment
• High degree of professionalism
• Ability to problem solve effectively

What You’ll Do:
• Be the first point of contact for customers and directing customer inquiries
for walk-ins
• Assist customers with processing payments
• Facilitating equipment returns
• Directing operator phone calls to the appropriate departments
• Ad hoc reporting and data entry as required
• Ordering office and grocery supplies for the main office
• Ordering printer supplies from Office Innovations
