We are looking for GPS Technicians to join our team. This is an entry-level role for people who like to work with their hands and spend time outdoors. The GPS Technicians report to the Director of Field Operations.

What You’ll Do:
– Facilitating and identifying fiber and conduit pathways
– Scheduling locates and responding to emails
– Locating Valley Fiber infrastructure in the field
– Working with utility maps as a guide and confirming that locations marked on the maps are accurate
– Using radio locating devices to pinpoint the precise location of underground fiber and conduit
What You Bring:
– Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
– Valid class 5 driver’s license is required
– Team player, highly organized, and excellent time management skills
– Visio knowledge is considered an asset
– Motivated and able to complete tasks with little to no supervision
– Reliable, dependable, adaptable and flexible for changing priorities
– Basic computer knowledge is required
– Basic Outlook knowledge is required
Working Conditions:
– Available to work overtime as workload requires
– Ability to work away from home (travel is required)
– Ability to work and drive in all weather conditions
– Ability to physically lift 50 lbs as required
