Inside Sales Representative (1 year term) Winkler

Valley Fiber Ltd. is a locally owned and operated technology firm based out of Winkler, MB. The ever-growing need for fast and reliable telecommunications has spurred on innovation. This innovation and its almost limitless potential have been one of the core passions for the Valley Fiber Development Team. Since 2017, this team has been working on bringing its next generation conscious fiber optic infrastructure design to the region. Valley Fiber has formed many partnerships with industry-leading developers to create and finalize its innovative design. We are looking for a full-time Inside Sales Representative for a 1-year term to join our team. This position is a commission-based role and reports directly to the Sales Manager.

The Inside Sales Representative will be based out of Valley Fiber’s head office and is responsible for assisting and contacting customers and initiating sales calls to sell Valley Fiber services. The candidate in this role will obtain the ability to build positive relationship with customers and act as the first point of contact for customers.

What You’ll Do:
• Assisting and contacting customers through phone and email
• Initiating sales calls to sell and upgrade Valley Fiber services
• Providing sales documentation
• Administrative duties as assigned

Who You Are:
• Previous experience in sales or administrative role is an asset
• Valid class 5 driver’s license is an asset
• Previous experience in telecommunication sales is an asset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks in order of importance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
• Relational, highly interpersonal, and a diplomatic attitude
• Ability to work well independently and collaborate in a team environment
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to negotiate effectively and upsell products and services
• Resilience to sales environment
• High level of adaptability with changing processes
• High degree of professionalism
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced office environment
• Ability to work well under pressure

Working conditions:
• Ability to work on internal systems for long periods of time
• Willingness to adapt and schedule and hours to accommodate high season
and customer demand
• Willingness to attend and participate in various company sales events
