We are seeking out enthusiastic and self-motivated full-time IT Technician to join our team at Valley Fiber. This position reports to the Director of IT.

Who You Are:
• High School diploma is required
• Valid class 5 driver’s license is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (O365), Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft
Azure, Microsoft Exchange Online is required
• College/University degree in computer science or relevant degree is an
• IT certifications are a strong asset (CompTIA, A+, Microsoft certifications)
• Previous experience with virtualization platform such as VMware ESXi
• Thorough knowledge troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10 and Linux
operating systems
• Previous experience using Helpdesk and providing technical support
• Highly technical with the ability to troubleshoot effectively
• Project management skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Ability to collaborate well within a team and work independently
• Reliable and punctual
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Highly organized
• High level of professionalism

What You’ll Do:
• Provide office support
• Assist with system administration
• Research and development on IT projects and technologies
• Coordinate special projects
• Provide departmental training and coordination as required

Working Conditions:
• Ability to work on internal positions for long periods of time
• Ability to work in office and travel to other office locations
• Ability to support remote clients as needed
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as workload requires
