The Marketing Manager-Commercial Markets will report to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Job Overview
The Marketing Manager- Commercial Markets will be responsible for positioning and communicating Valley Fiber’s Commercial products’ value in the market. This role involves collaborating with different departments to create and manage marketing assets, develop go-to-market campaigns, and implement demand generation tactics. The primary objective is to effectively communicate the value of Valley Fiber’s Commercial product line to the target market and drive demand to sales channels.

What You’ll Do:
– Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to address opportunities
in Valley Fiber’s Commercial (Wholesale B2B & B2G) segments
– Manage all marketing and communications platforms and campaigns for the
Commercial Markets team
– Segmentation of commercial market
– Management of CRM with the objective of alignment of sales channels to
segments (or customers)
– Creation of sales rules
– Oversee content creation, including graphic design, written and digital
communications, photography, videography, and marketing collateral
production
– Contribute to the management of the organization’s digital channels (websites,
social media, SMS marketing) and associated assets for Commercial Markets
efforts
– Assist in pricing and product development processes and conduct competitive
research to understand competitors’ strengths and weaknesses
What You Bring:
– An undergraduate degree in Marketing with experience in creating technical
marketing communications material
– 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or business, preferably
in the tech industry or working for an ISP. Minimum 3-5 years of B2B experience
in Commercial Markets or a related industry with technical sales and/or
marketing experience is an asset
– Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work
collaboratively across departments. Strong organization, task and project
management skills, and creativity are essential
– Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop,
Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and Audition, is an asset
– Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines, work independently and
in a team setting, set and achieve goals, and effectively communicate complex
ideas
– A valid Manitoba license is required for travel between Valley Fiber’s offices

– Ability to work on internal systems for long periods of time
